The LE-DF-SL600 down firing enclosures are designed around our SL600 Series high definition subwoofers. These state of the art cast frame drivers are developed for superior sound quality in a compact size, allowing for a low rise enclosure style with a reduced footprint to maximize your cargo functionality. The down firing design also protects the soft cone and surround of the subwoofer against the more typical threats found in family vehicles: kicking kids, rambunctious dogs, and drifting clutter.
The SL600s use an EROM rubber surround profile mated to a highly rigid, composite sandwiched convex/concave flat cone to deliver a detailed low frequency from its small volume air space. This allows the DF enclosures to be extremely compact in size while still giving the vehicle a concert hall quality sound. These classy enclosures are made from 18mm MDF, internally braced and sharply finished in embroidered carpet with a two tone, aluminum DD logo plate bolted in front.
